The journey begins with your arrival in Leh, where you are welcomed into the serene atmosphere of the Himalayas. The first day is kept relaxed to allow proper acclimatization to the high altitude. You can take a short walk around your hotel or simply rest while enjoying the stunning mountain views. This gradual start ensures that your body adjusts comfortably before the adventure truly begins.
The next day is dedicated to exploring the cultural heart of Leh. You visit the magnificent Thiksey Monastery, known for its hilltop location and striking resemblance to the Potala Palace of Tibet. The tour continues to Leh Palace, a former royal residence offering panoramic views of the town and surrounding mountains. Later, you visit the peaceful Shanti Stupa, a symbol of harmony and a perfect spot to witness the sunset.
