Situated on the banks of the Parvati River and untouched by the weariness that characterizes metropolitan life, Kasol, a small village in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, offers much more than you’d expect. Its serene beauty, adventure activities, and year-round accessibility have made it extremely popular among travelers. It’s one of the top places to visit in Himachal, captivating nature lovers with its wilderness, sparkling waterfalls, and an ambiance that leaves a lasting impression.
There are plenty of things to do on this Kasol Rudranag Manali Backpacking Trip, from camping to trekking and immersing yourself in the spiritual essence these places provide. The journey begins in Kasol, known as the "Mini Israel of India" due to the influence of Israeli culture and cuisine. You'll get the opportunity to savor some delectable Israeli dishes and explore vibrant cafes. We’ll also take a small hike to Chalal Village, with the Parvati River flowing beside you. Nearby attractions include Manikaran Sahib, Malana Village, Kalga, and Pulga, along with other scenic waterfalls in the valley.
After exploring Kasol, we make our way to Rudranag, a picturesque spot famous for its cascading waterfall and lush surroundings. Located on the way to Kheerganga, Rudranag is known for its divine aura, serene landscapes, and scenic trails that offer breathtaking views of the Parvati Valley. Spending time here feels like stepping into a natural sanctuary, with the sound of rushing water blending perfectly with the tranquility of the Himalayas.
Our final stop is Manali, one of India’s most loved hill stations. You can stroll around the famous Mall Road, visit the Hadimba Temple, or simply relax amid snow-clad peaks and pine-covered hills. The blend of adventure and peace that Manali offers makes it the perfect end to this Himalayan escapade.
To add a special touch, our Kasol Rudranag Manali Backpacking Trip includes Christmas and New Year celebrations, featuring 2+2 Veg Snacks, Music, Cake, and a Bonfire (weather permitting). The divine energy and serene vibes of the Himalayas, combined with these festivities, will make the experience unforgettable. Though you can plan this trip any time of the year, the best time to visit is from November to January, when the cold breeze and occasional snowfall add a magical touch to the landscape.
