Himachal Pradesh is one of those states in India which is hard to forget and remains in one thoughts and hearts long after a visit. The state is blessed with snow capped mountains, cobbled streets, deep plunging valleys and waterfalls, treacherous trekking routes, old folklore and legends which makes this state one of a kind. This 9 nights 10 days Shimla Manali Kasol Himachal package takes you through all of them.
The journey starts off from Manali. Manali is a resort town which lies in the Beas River Valley and it was once an ancient trade route to Ladakh. Manali now has a new image now, it is one of the best holiday destinations to travel in India, whether it be for families, couples or groups of friends.
There are many places worth checking out in Manali. The place is famous for its cafes in Old Manali. Some of the famous cafes to check out are Cafe 1947, whose fish and chips are a must have. Other cafes include Drifter cafe, The Lazy Dog and Cafe Meraki. You can also spend the evening shopping to your heart's content at Mall Road where you will get authentic and local souvenirs.
Next day will be spent at Solang Valley, which is also known as the Adventure Capital of India; and rightly so because you can indulge in some thrilling adventure activities such as paragliding, skiing, ATV riding and much more. The mountainous vistas add a surreal charm to the Solang Valley.
The rest of the day can be spent in visiting some local touristic spots in Manali such as Manu Temple, Hadimba Temple, Jogini Falls, Manali Nature Park, Manali Club House and much more.
Then, the journey goes through Kasol, also famously known as "Mini Israel of India". It is a tiny hamlet settled along the Parvati river in the Parvati Valley. The place is popular for numerous hikes such as Kheerganga, Grahan, Chalal, Rasol and for longer treks as well such as Pin Parvati Pass, Sar Pass, etc. Apart from this, it is also known for vibrant cafes situated here. Other nearby attractions include Malana village, Kalga, Pulga, Manikaran, and a few waterfalls like Rudranag.
Malana is an ancient Indian village in the state of Himachal Pradesh. This solitary village in the Malana Nala, a side valley of the Parvati Valley to the north-east of Kullu Valley, is isolated from the rest of the world. It is situated on a remote plateau by the side of the torrential Malana river, at a height of 2,652 metres (8,701 ft) above sea level. Malana has its own lifestyle and social structure and people are strict in following their customs.
Tosh, which is 3 km away from Barshaini. Tosh is a place settled at slightly higher altitude than Kasol and is known for its majestic views of snow-capped Himalayas. Kutla is another tiny place which is an hour or 2 hike from Tosh and offers much better views of Parvati Valley.
The next destination of the trip would be Shimla which is also the capital city of Himachal Pradesh. Shimla formerly acted as the summer capital of British India. The colonial architecture, beautiful mountains and dense forests are some of the highlights of Shimla which makes it for a top tourist destination.
Shimla offers a varied variety of places to discover. Explore Himalayan Bird Park and take a look at various bird species such as peacocks, pheasants and Himalayan Monal to name a few. Visit The Ridge, which is the epicenter of all tourist locations in Shimla. It is connected with Mall Road, Scandal Point and also the Lakkar Bazar. The Ridge is also famous for the summer festival which is held every year. Admire the neo-gothic style architecture of Christ Church which has been in existence since 1857.
Kufri is a small hill station which is located around 20kms from Shimla. In Kufri you can take a horse ride to Mahasu Peak or hike there. You will be able to see Kedarnath and Badrinath mountains and also acres of Deodar trees. You can also indulge in some adventurous activities such as skiing at Kufri.
This is how this 9 nights 10 days Shimla Manali Kasol Package will take you through the most loved destinations in Himachal. Are you ready to explore these places in real life?
