• Kashmir Great Lakes Trek: This trek, also known as the Sonamarg-Vishansar-Naranag Trek, takes you through alpine landscapes and past multiple high-altitude lakes. During the trek, you'll explore five major glacial lakes: Gadsar, Vishansar, Krishansar, Nundkol, and Gangabal. The trek is approximately 68-75 km long, reaching an altitude of 13,715-13,800 ft, and is considered moderate to difficult in terms of terrain and trail difficulty. It typically takes 6-7 days to complete. The best time to visit is July, August, and September.
• Tarsar Marsar Trek: This trek allows you to behold the grandiosity of dual lakes nestled in the Kashmir Himalayas: Tarsar Lake and Marsar Lake. You'll camp by the pristine waters of Tarsar Lake and revitalize yourself for the trek to Marsar Lake. The trek is 33 km long, reaching an altitude of 13,500 feet, and is considered easy to moderate. The best time to visit is from July to mid-September
• Other Treks: Additional trekking options in Kashmir include the Kolahoi Glacier Trek, Bodpathri Tosamaidan Trek, and Nafran Valley Trek.
